Question: Why is it that when a person who is 66 has MERSA that the hospitals just send them home to die!?
Why is it that they don't keep them in the hospital until they are BETTER, verses just shipping them home!.

I know a person who has been to the hospital for 2 times in two weeks, she starts getting better but the Dr!. doesn't even give her enough medicine (antibiotics) to get her by until she sees them again 2 weeks later! They also have not been talking to them explaining EXACTLY what is going on with her condition!

Are their grounds to sue the Dr!. for not giving them the medicine and making sure that the patient is totally understanding of their condition, especially if the patient dies!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i happened to be right around the corner when my Doctor was talking to Medicare on the phone about a shot that was keeping my kidneys functioning while i was waiting for a liver transplant~!!!

the shot cost a thousand bucks each and sometimes i needed one or two a day~!!!

the Doctor was arguing with them and he slammed the phone cussing, they said that to keep giving me the shot "was not cost effective"~!!!

i told them to unhook me and i will go home to die~!!!

oops~!!!
i made it~!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know of a young woman in her 30's who had MRSA and they treated her (wound) in the ER and sent her home with some antibiotics in much the same way!. She had to keep going back until she was completely healed!. It's a super bug staph infection and is becoming resistant to many of the antibiotics out there!. You need to keep your immune system in good condition and not let your body get run down!. It's out there and can be contracted by ANYONE under the right conditions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no one wants to stay at the hospital, i would WANT to go home!. not stay there!. plus it's expensive!. nurses and doctors want to care for people with serious illnesses, not people with MRSA (which you spelled incorrectly)!. MRSA is not a death sentence, it's very treatable, don't listen to everything you hear on the news!.

if your friend isn't getting better maybe she needs to switch her doctor, or at least ask the current one questions and don't leave until she gets them answered!.

It all boils down to the money either they have no insurance or the insurance don't want to keep paying for the hospital stay, sad but true,a life is not important anymore they send you home to die that is for sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
