Question: WHEN I LAY DOWN I GET SHORT OF BREATH AND CANT BREATH DEEPLY

it only happens when im laying down, and i do excercise daily from 6:50 am - 8:15 am!. plz someone give me an answer of to why thi might occur and what i can do to stop it plz!. i need to go to sleep but this condition will not allow me to i will give best answerWww@Answer-Health@Com

Its not asthma, or allergies!.!.!.!.!.!.you are too young to have COPD, emphysema, or CHF, unless you have a congenital heart disease (which is not likely)!.!.!.!.!.!.It is probably anxiety about the move or just self consioussness of the way you breathe when your Lying down!.

How much do you weigh!? If your overweight when you lay down the weight shift to your chestcould be causing an increased work of breathing!.

EDIT: Probably just the anxiety thing or self conscioussness (thinking too much into it) then!.!.!.!.Try to relax and don't think about it, If you think you need some valium or something ask your doc at your next visit!. Otherwise I wouldn't worry too much about it!.

Now I suffer from a similar problem and for me its that I suffer from a heart murmor but it could 1 of 5 things
heart murmor (not dangerous no cure)
ristriction to the bloodflow to your heart
A sign of TB (a ppd test would verify
Asthma or enphasemia

Without more details it's impossible to say-even a doctor wouldn't be able to!. Some possibilities are Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Congestive Heart Failure and Obstructive Sleep Apnea!. These are all serious conditions and you should be examined by a physician as soon as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Couple of possible reasons: allergy to dust mites; allergies to the detergent/fabric softener!. Dusty room!?
