If its just irritated where you shaved, then its probably an ingrown hair!.
Herpes sores tend to last longer than razor burn - as long as a week or two!. Razor burn goes away fairly quickly!.
Herpes sores tend to come in small clusters of blisters or sores, they usually aren't "all over" the way that razor burn is!.
Herpes sores usually hurt!. Sometimes a LOT!. Razor burn itches, but it never gets to the hurting stage!.
Of course, you could be mistaken, and actually have genital herpes - but I would think it was unlikely!. The next time you go in for a check up, as them to do an STD panel!. That way you'll know for sure, and be able to reassure both yourself and future partners about your status!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

herpes is usually painful and comes with a bunch of symptoms like burning, tingeling sensations under the skin where the bump is, u may also have a mild fever sore muscles along with swollen genitals, trouble or burning when peeing!. they look similar but since u shaved 3 days ago i'll bet its an ingrown hair and or razzor burn!. u usually get genital herpes from sexual contact not razzors (unless they are shared and used imediatly after some one with herpes)!. if your worried go to the doctor while its still there and have them test it for herpes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
sounds like ingrown hairs or razor burn!. make sure the razor is new and clean when you shave your pubic area!. I have herpes and they are more like small blisters, not ingrown hair bumps!. Did you shave because you thought you had herpes and wanted to see the skin more clearer or did you shave and then get the rash/ bumps days later!? if the bumps dont go away in 4 days, go see a doctor!.
