Is my tongue piercing infected? Or should i just not worry about it?!

Question: Is my tongue piercing infected!? Or should i just not worry about it!?
So i've had my tongue pierced for 5 months!. And up until last week it was perfectly fine!. But then it started hurting out of no where!. This has happened before to me, but it only lasted a day, and i think it was because i play with it too much!. But it's starting to hurt really bad underneath my tongue at the opening of the bottom of the piercing!. I don't have any bumps under my tongue around the piercing!. It looks perfectly fine! But it does feel like its swelled up right around the piercing hole!. If i touch it between my fingers, it feels kind of hard!.!.!.but not really!. Could this be because of playing with it too much!? Am i overreacting!? Is my tongue piercing infected!? Or should i just not worry about it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
it could be because you are playing with it too much, i was the same with mine and now i have a bit of scar tissue around the bottom hole with hurts when i play with it

if you have a long bar then this could be making it worse, try getting a smaller bar that you aren't as tempted to play with and that doesn't move around as much and see if it helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know anything about tongue piercings, but if you don't want to talk to a doc about it, maybe the person who pierced it can tell you something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
