Answers:
There are a lot of classes, here a overview:

Aminoglycosides: like tobramycin and streptomycin!.
they will inhibit the translocation of the mRNA of bacterias

Ansamycines: not used much, most in experimental state

Carbapenems: like meropenem not used much either

Cephalosporines
there is a first, second and third generation of these
first generation: like cefalozin
second generation: like cefoxitin
third generation: like ceftriaxone
they all work (just a bit differently) on the bacterial cell walls

Glycopeptides: like vancomycin

Macrolides: like azithromycin and clarithormycin
these are used a lot

Monobactams: not used usually

Penicillines: most common used like penincillin, amoxicillin!. They work on the bacterial cell walls

Polypeptides: not used a lot

Quinoles: like ciprofloxacin, they stop the DNA replication of bacterias

Sulfonamides: like trimethoprim

Tetracyclines: like doxycyclin, tetracyclin also work on mRNA of bacterias
