Question: My friend has tried cocaine and what are the chances of him getting addicted!?

It really depends on him, the choices he makes and the sort of personality that he has!.
I have "tried" cocaine!. Even done it a few times, but never became addicted!. I also can drink, and get drunk, even had a few benders in my day, but I don't drink to excess!. some people have little control, and some people can control themselves!.
Just having tried a drug, is not a guarantee that they will become addicted!. Try to help him stay on the straight, and he'll probably be okay, assuming HE doesn't like it so much that he's going to keep trying again and again!.
Cocaine actually takes a little while to become addicted to!. Crack, on the other hand, is SUPER highly addictive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you dont get addicted from one try!. it happens over time with constant use!. if he liked it , there's a chance he may continue and get messed up!. i tried it twice as a teen and just got a headache and abandoned it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i would think it would take longer for him to get addicted , but not on his first try and tell your friend don't do drugs its not healthy Www@Answer-Health@Com
