Unless you have a urinary problem, then no it won't happen!. There could be some conditions that cause people to have the inability to urinate and if that problem isn't taken care of then it might could burst!. Or if the bladder is full and is injured (like from a hard hit to the abdomen) it could burst!. But in a typical healthy person, you won't be able to hold it long enough for it to burst!. Once the bladder fills to a certain point and you don't relieve it, your body will do it for you!. There is kind of a reflex where your body will relax the sphincter holding the opening to the bladder!. So basically, if you hold it too long, your bladder wont burst, you will just wet yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It would have to be way extreme for your bladder to burst!. People that do not have urinary problems typically cannot hold their bladder until it bursts!. What will happen is if it is held to long, urine will go back up the ureters into the kidneys, this is extremely dangerous and can lead to kidney damage and possible dialysis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The bladder will not burst, it will merely stretch with time!. Holding you're urine for too long can cause bacteria to enter back the way they came from your kidneys, get into your blood and cause death!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
