Question: Is there a cure for insomnia can someone help me i really need some sleep!
I am 13 years old and suffer from insomnia,i used to satay up really late until 3 in the morning and them eventually i started to get less sleep until one night i din't sleep at all and when ever i tried to sleep i felt anxious and stressed and even scared of not being able to sleep can some one help me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

try counting as high as you can
fake to yourself that your really tired
think of somehing impossable,like yr flying on a giant block of cheese to the sun!.
eat turkey not warm milk it has 10 times the stuff that makes you fall asleep!.

Like another person mentioned you need to get to the root of the problem!. I know Benadryl or Melatonin will work for awhile, but eventually you'll build up a tollerance and need a higher dose!. You can get them at a pharmacy without a prescription, but you really need to see a good doctor!.

I have had insomnia for almost twenty years, and I'm only in my late 20s!. I have finally found out what causes it for me!. It is triggered by eating gluten!. I had an intollerance that I did not know about!. It was also causing me a lot of other problems that many Drs over the years brushed off!. I finally found a good Dr that listened to what I had to say and helped put the pieces together!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Insomnia can be a symptom of something more serious!. Please speak to your parents and ask them if you could have an evaluation by a psychiatrist as well as a primary care physician!. Therapy may help as well since the insomnia may just be caused by anxiety or stress related issues!.

Even if the doctor prescribes medication you will need to get to the root of the insomnia to cure it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had overwhelming anxiety and insomnia!. It turned out to be my use of Splenda!. Yup Splenda!.

I like to say sucralose, not Splenda, because that is what Splenda is!. And it is in a lot of stuff!. The package doesn't have to say Splenda to have sucralose in it!. You have to

read labels!. So, you might still be using it and don't even know it!

Sucralose is poison!. It ruined five years of my life!. I had a laundry list of medical problems while taking it, including overwhelming anxiety, depression, mood swings, insomnia

The slogan, "Made from sugar!.!.!." is very misleading!. Splenda might be made from sugar, but it is far from sugar!. The resulting chemical is an organochloride (chlorocarbon)!.

im going thru the same problem dude im 16 and like the last couple of weeks ive been goin 2 sleep at 4 and den 5 and den last nite i didnt sleep at all and it looks like 2 day im not goin 2 be able 2 sleep either

its like i try so hard 2 fall asleep but i just kant its like i feel anxious and i jus want 2 get out of bed

i mean im really active i work out 2 times a day i go 4 a jog early in the mornin and go work out at the gym in the afternoon but i just kant seem 2 be tired enough 2 fall asleep

There are perscriptions, but without medicine I have a couple of tips!.
1!. Drink warm milk before going to bed!.
2!. Exercise a little, 45 minutes before going to bed!.
3!. Do something that winds down your mind, something that relaxes you, such as reading, or looking up at the stars, or listening to soft music!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have the same problem, try reading first, it really tires you out, and you can find some sleeping pills in drug stores, or have your doctor prescribe them!. you could try sleeping with different sheets and blankets, and pillows, or even on a different mattress!. it all helped me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, take the generic sleeping pills!. Don't OD!.

If those don't work, try Melatonin, it's a hormone thats produced by your body and when it's taken it will restore your bodies natural circadian rhythms!. It's cheap and OTC!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ask your parents to get you some melatonin supplements, or try advil pm or tylenol pm until you can get into a habit of going to sleep earlierWww@Answer-Health@Com

That happened to me!. You should go out for an extremely long and very tiring run!. Matter fact, sprint!. Then take a nice long shower!. That usually helps me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My mom has SEVERE insomnia!. Try getting some sleeping pills prescribed!. It helped her!.
