If this is the correct diagnosis, and the condition has been present since birth, there is really nothing to be done unless the condition is affecting either cardiac or respiratory function!. However a very similar appearance, with a concavity of the chest can occur in young people, due to chronic poorly treated asthma!. In this case treatment is of the asthma itself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
