Cardio - heart rate 100 to 120; ocassionally 130/140!

Question: Cardio - heart rate 100 to 120; ocassionally 130/140
My heart rate use to be perfect for my age and size - suddenly I started to get arrythemia (apparently two different types) and my heart rate now will not go below 108 average!.

I have been told I do not need to see a cardio person urgently - yet no doctor will treat me until they know what is wrong with me; one doctor said that this is not abnormal - I find I cannot even do housework without been uncomfortable and my heart rate going up!.

Also my blood pressure goes up to 157/110

Any suggestions from anyone who knows, or thinks they know, what they are talking about!.!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Normal resting heart rate is usually below 90!. If you are use to exercising, the normal heart rate is usually below 80!. When walking, working, moving about lifting things, the heart rate will rise!. Under these circumstances it is not unusual for it to go as high as 135 - 145!. If you are walking, working, etc!. before taking your pulse or heart rate, sit down, relax for about five minutes!. Then take your heart rate!. This is a more accurate measure of your resting rate!. An even more accurate measure is to measure your heart rate in the morning before you get out of bed!. As to your blood pressure, the 157/110 is high!. If it is this high when you are at rest, you need to see your doctor and get his advice!. Before you do so, you should take your blood pressure a couple of times a day, prior to eating and after being seated and resting for five minutes!. Take it about 10:00 am and 4:00 pm!. Record your measurements on a daily log for about two weeks!. This will give you and your doctor a good idea of what is happening!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Toddlers have heart rates in the 100-120 range, not adults! You need to "TELL" your family physician that you want a referral to a Cardiologist!.!.!.!.period!. Don't be afraid of your doctor, he/she is a human, just like you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
