Possible kidney problem?!
Question: possible kidney problem!?
for the past two days i have been having severe sharp pain on my right side/back a slight fever (99!.6) i have also been nauseated!. i went to my doctor today and he did a urinalysis in the office which came back normal!. now since i have been home i have been feeling pressure where my bladder is and i also noticed some blood/mucous in my urine and i had some cramping similar to menstrual cramps but that's not it!. i am not pregnant or sexually active so that's out!. any ideas i mean within 6 hours of going to the doctor and having clean urine the blood appeared!. i have not urinated since so i do not know if its going to be constant from now on or not!. so is it possible to have a kidney problem/uti even though the urine at the office was clean!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is absolutely possible to have a UTI or kidney infection when the urinalysis comes back clean!. (Speaking from experience, appx!. 2 kidney infections each year for the past 15 years!.) Mine normally start out as a UTI and I have had times where I have gone to the ER in so much pain and have had them tell me my urinalysis is normal and it is lower back strain!. Be persistent with your doctor that there is something wrong and that you want an antibiotic!. If the UTI is not taken care of in time it can back track into your kidneys and cause a lot of problems!. Hope you get feeling better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You might have a kidney stone!. It's been a long time since I had one but I had severe pain on my left side and a slight fever!. I felt a little nasuseated as well!. I didn't have any blood in my urine but I suppose if it's big enough it might have cut the inside of your kidney!. How much water do you drink!? If I were you I'd have my doctor test me for kidney stones!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
tell your urologist to have an ultrasound to check your kidney!.!.i have few stones also both kidneys, my doctor prescribed me me but i had problem with my memory then so i stopped,right now I'm taking herbal medicine and change my diet,drinking more water everyday!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
