What helps cure sty in the eye?!

Question: What helps cure sty in the eye!?
Ever since I got back from work (I'm a cleaner) yesterday, my eye's been slowly aching and getting a little pink-ish in colour on the top lid of my left eye!. Now I've woken up this morning and it was still persisting, so I asked my mum what it could be (she's a nurse)!. She says it's a sty and that a cold tea bag will help, which I think is a bit odd!. Would this help cure a sty!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The teabag thing works yes, place a used teabag over your eye (not hot obviously) and leave it on for about 20 minutes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had couple of these myself in the last year or so!. I had one so bad I went to the all night Dr's and they wouldn't remove it as it is a risky and dangerous thing to do!. I found putting one of those wheat bags that go in the microwave wrapped in a tea towel worked as the heat helped alleviate the pain and make the swelling go down!. I also kept the eye clean by rinsing out with saline solution which helped!. Otherwise if your mum is a nurse and she thinks you should try the tea bag idea then it can't hurt!. But being a nurse she should be able to give you more remedies!. Good luck!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its the chemicals they give ya to clean the floors,im a cleaner and in my last job i had the same problem but i was getting really bad headaches as well as a sty!.Whevever you touch the bottles or put the cleaner in the mop bucket wash your hands afterwardsWww@Answer-Health@Com

A stye occurs as an infection in a hair follicle!. If you can find which hair, pluck it and the pus would come out, which helps to relieve the swelling and pain!. Be sure to put some ointment, like Golden Eye, on it to stop the infection spreading!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
