it makes me feel weak, woozy, shakey, and sometimes drunk!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I've had asthma for almost 20 yrs, and it is perfectly normal for your breathing treatment (of whatever type: inhaler or nebulizer) to make you feel 'shaky, woozy, weak, and somewhat 'drunk' - this is because the medicine is usually a cross between a stimulant, which stimulates your CNS (central nervous system), and a type of steroid, which also stimulates your CNS!. This is because these drugs help to 'strengthen' your lungs tiniest cells called Alveoli, which are the ones primarily affected in people with Asthma!.

It is best when you know you need a treatment, to NOT plan any dangerous activity (even driving), or anything that requires great levels of concentration, for approximately 30 minutes!. After 30 minutes, these effects should wear off!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

well i have had chronic asthma since i was 2 so i know quite a lot about it!. If you are taking your breathing treatments evrey day well hun you shouldnt be you need to be put on a preventol!. if not you should prably be put on a lower dose the only time ive ever felt shaky or dizzy from doing a breathing treatment is when i take them too many times!. If this feeling bothers you and you cant get to a doctor right away i would suggest putting a few drops of cold water in with the medicine!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
