There's hope! My husband was married 18 years ago, and he and his first wife tried to have kids; the fertility docs told them after examing both, that my husband was infertile, he had an extremely low sperm count and the ones that were there were deformed and not very active!. And believe me, he had lived a life that if he had been fertile, he would have had kids for sure!

We got married a few years ago and have a beautiful little girl, now 2 1/2!. The thing is, that my husband years ago was a very active Martial Arts fighter, always in tournaments, training like a madman, and it was apparently so much stress it affected his sperm count!. We don't know for sure, but the fact that since his first marriage his quit pretty much all athletics, and is now just running and strength training!. He was 52 and I was 37 when our daughter was conceived VERY easily!. We talked about how nice it would be, weren't using any birth control, but I was using information from a book I had (see the sources below) and WHAM! It could also be that he just need the right set of ovaries to knock up--I am extremely fertile!.

So my point is that there is hope!. But it depends on WHY your ex was told he can't have children!. Some causes are not reversible, though my understanding is that most are!. And the woman can increase their chances of conceiving by being accutely aware of her own cycle and most fertile days!.

Without knowing the reason for his infertility, it's impossible to assess whether or not the cause of his problem was self-limiting!. Sometimes, a solution as simple as changing from briefs to boxers can remedy a situation; however, you would need to 1) know the reason for his infertility as well as 2) analyze the quality and quantity of a current sperm sample!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Probably not!. It could have been temporary, but I doubt it!.

Hmm, you like yer ex again, eh!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
