Question: Congenital Heart Disease!?!?
I have heard that a heart transplant can occur if none of the treatments are possible, I was wondering what are the dangers of having a heart transplant and also what happens after the surgery is over pls!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
getting a heart transplant is often a long process to make sure someone is an eligible candidate, then the long waiting begins!.
Dangers of surgery besides the regular ones of infection, bleeding, etc, include rejection of the heart by the body, failure of the new heart, etc!.
After surgery there will be a couple week hospital stay, rehab, and medications for life to help the body keep from rejecting the new heartWww@Answer-Health@Com
