Question: Dry eyes, Sjogren's syndrome!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I am a 17 year old female and i have dry eyes I use prescription eye drops every morning and every night!. I constantly feel tired during the day and i cant concentrate properly, my mind easily wanders off !.I also get frequent head aches and its around my eyes and on the temples of my head!. I' ve also been having a lot of cloudy white flem for the past 6 months!. My nostrils are usually very dry too I use Neosporin to moisturize them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hello, Sjogren's syndrome is a auto immune disease!. The doctors that treat such disease are called Rheumatologist!. There are two test you can do, first it the blood test and second is by visiting the ENT doctor who can do a swab of your mouth ( more accurate test )
Yes, Dry eyes is one of the symptoms but also symptoms of so many other stuff!.
Do you have Joint Pain / Rash !?
I would visit a Rheumatologist and get their opinion on this, they can tell!.

hi i was also sure that i had this but i think i was just tired!. when i told my G!.P that I thought i had it and it was making me tired she did not even check, and just gave me the meds so I thought ok maybe I do have it!. I then went to the Optician for an eye test and she said there is adequate moisture there but she didnt do the specific tests that there are to diagnose it so i continued with the eye drops!.
I tried all the different ones including the preservative free ones and thicker gel type ones and i had some releif but i dont think i realy had dry eye!. But when you are tired all the time you want a solution and the symptoms of dry eye were in line with what i was experiencing!. but i dont think i ever had it, and you probably dont as people with it are often elderly and cant cry etc!. in the end i think the eye drops stained my eyes and they are now a bit yellow in places!.
your problem might be somthing else, i know i have allergies, maybe you do too!? and these can affect your eyes and cause 'phlem', I constantly have a runny nose though because of my allergies but you dont!. Your symptoms are a bit weird!.
Are the headaches in the same place where you have always had them!? you may have a brain tumour i dont mean to scare you but theres only a 1 in 15000 chance of that so highly unlikely!.
Honestly I think you need more sleep, that would solve nearly all of your symptoms, and the rest is possilbly an allergy but you can have a test done to determine what!.
