Coughing up blood & tightness in chest!
Question: Coughing up blood & tightness in chest
This morning after coughing several times to clear the tightness on my chest (I suffer with asthma)!.!.!.!.the phlem was streaked with blood!.
I suffer with mild asthma but it has been particularly bad over the past week but I have also had a cold during this time!. I find it difficult to clear my chest when I lie down and quite a few nights over the last week I have had to cough alot just to be able to partially clear the tightness!. My inhalors are not working properly but I just put it down to my cold!. They are not clearing the tightness fully, and when it does help clear the tightness!.!.!.!.the tightness will return after about 1-2 hours!.
I was also out on friday night and got quite drunk and ended up vomiting but it wasn't alot!.
I am trying not to exajurate on explaining the problems because I personally don't think it is that serious but think I will be told by a few of you to go to the doctors which I will be doing tomorrow if it has not improved!.
Just wanted to know really what blood streaked in phlem is!.!.!.and what causes it please!.

could be serious so do see doc in morning but if you been coughing alot the throat can get sore and bleed while coughing so blood could be from that but you must get it checked asapWww@Answer-Health@Com
Same thing happened to my friend!.
She went to the doctor and he/she sent her straight to hospital!.
Thats what you should do!.
See your local gp!.

Blood in your phlem can happen because of coughing a lot it scratches your throat causes a little bit of blood to come and too if you smoke that could make a little bit more blood especially mentholWww@Answer-Health@Com
