Question: Clear saliva with a tiny amount of blood!?
Tiny being a small streak!. No more than 1mm!.
I was on Penicillin VK for a week around 2 weeks ago because i was coughing up blood/sore throat!. I've just noticed a tiny amount of blood in my saliva, the saliva was clear!. Thoughts!?

I sounds like fresh blood from burst blood vessels in your throat, most likely caused by the coughing!. If the saliva is clear, then there's not much to worry about!. No need to bother the doctor!. Just keep your throat cool and moist and try not to cough so hard!.

if the blood was fresh ie red i wud not worry to much as it is prob from a liesion in your throat or maybe off a tooth, if the blood is dark!.!. nearly black then this is from something internal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it could be anything, but most likely a burst blood vessel, especiallly if you have been coughing hard!. Or maybe a bit of periodontal !?, still not dangerous!.
