Question: Will I get mono from swimming in the same pool as someone!?
My friend swam in a pool!. She made out with her boyfriend the day before!. Her boyfriend probably has mono!. The next day, I decide i may want to go for a swim!.
Is there a risk!? I know that mono is a virus and not a bacteria so I'm wondering if the chlorine will be able to destroy it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you were near each other!. her breathing in your face, coughing around you, sneezing: stuff like that can cause mono!. it's not going to spread through the pool!.!.!.!. i mean did she sit there with her mouth open underwater the whole time!? lol!.!.!.

Unfortuantely anything is possible!. But in all honesty you could walk into a grocery store and someone could have mono and you could pick it up!. I wouldn't worry about it too much!. Be aware of any unusual symptoms!. My guess is your ok!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
You have to have direct contact w/ an infected person to get it!. You can't get it from swimming in the same pool w/ her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
chlorine pretty much kills everything in the water i suggest looking it up or asking a doctor but otherwise i think your safe Www@Answer-Health@Com
