You can do one of the either which I all thought worked:
buy itching cream
put peanut butter on it
put a band-aid or bandage over it and wait
you can stop the itching by x-ing the mark

I know some great ways of preventing them biting you!. They love me but since I started wearing a product called satsuma body butter they never came any where near me!. Mossies hate oil on their wings and as this product has satsuma oil in it they hate it!. It smells a little fruity, but my fella used it last year when he realised I wasn't getting bitten and he was!. We used the satsuma body polish on his bites and they seemed to clear up quicker than normal, but as I haven't tried this as I haven't been bitten recently I can't confirm it either way!.
