Question: Need thoughts,prayers,advice exp about Radiation/chemo
my mom is about to have 6-7 weeks of radiation ( augmented by weekly chemo ) for a non matistised mouth tumorWww@Answer-Health@Com

Have had breast cancer my self!. in 2000 Your mom will be fine if she can keep a good fighting attitude !.it's hard but ,God will and can be with her!. God bless you You and she will be in my prayers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My mother had radiotherapy after having breast cancer,
my thoughts and prayers are with you my dear, and your mom is very lucky to have a son who thinks so lovingly of her!.
Remember that of course she will need support - radiotherapy can cause major fatigue and she will feel too exhausted to do as much as usual!. The chemo may make her feel very ill and it can be a frightening experience for her, so try your best to be there to give her a hand when she needs a lift, or just to talk!.
Also, although your mom will be feeling very under the weather now, she will not want you to give up your life to wait on her hand on foot, no matter how bad you feel dear!. Don't forget about yourself and your loved ones through all this - that will be very important to your Mom too!.
Give her lots of time and patience, and space if she needs it!.
Talk with the Doctor's and nurses so you can have a full understanding of what's going on, it can really put your mind at ease!.
Whatever you do, take care of yourself dear,

You have my prayers, It sounds like she is doing the wise thing by having a combination of both!.My sister has a tumor in her back , currently in remission,, she even had chemo trials!. Tell your mom to keep a good attitude that is what has helped my sister even through the hair loss Www@Answer-Health@Com
