Question: If a person has cold sore, can you get genital herpes if your wearing a latex and lubricated condom!?
I had protected oral sex for about 30 seconds because I had an emergency and had to leave!.

There weren't any visible signs that my partner had cold sores but I am just wondering!.

Herpes is spread through skin-to-skin contact!. Condoms typically provide little protection against herpes, because during sex you get a lot of skin-to-skin contact even with the condom!. In your case, the condom may have been helpful!.
Because of how it is spread, it doesn't matter if you ejaculated!. It's all about skin-to-skin contact!.
With that said, almost everyone has oral herpes!. Fifty to eighty percent of adults have it!. So its tough to avoid!. When no symptoms are present, the likelihood of transmission is fairly low, but it is still possible!.
If you don't get symptoms, and most people who are infected don't, it will be almost impossible to determine whether or not you have caught herpes!. A blood test would show that you have the herpes virus, but it won't tell you if you have it orally or genitally!. And if you caught someones oral herpes, then it is most likely you would be infected with HSV1!. Which you might have already had orally instead!.

Yes, you can still get it!. It doesn't have to go down the tube, it can get in through a hair follicle at the base!.
