Answers:
Absolutely! As someone who is allergic to smoke (among many other things), I can tell you that it makes me sneeze, tear up, cough and my throat ends up feeling rubbed raw whenever I am near a smokey environment or smokers in general!. Is there any way for you to open up windows fully to ventilate the area or can you go to another room while they are smoking!? What I would suggest too is purchasing a HEPA air filter or some other air filtration system!. Have you tried to mention to your Mum that this really is making you feel ill!? Hopefully that would have some impact on her and she might be more considerate with her smoking habits in the future!. If not, can you go to a friends house for a bit to get relief from the smoking!? I hope you find a way to work it out!.!.!.good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes it is very possible to be allergic to it!. do whatever you can do to stay out of it and get as much fresh air as you can!. Bars and whatnot are terrible places for that and inside the home possible try and designate one room to non smoking so you have a "haven" buy a small air purifier and place it in that room so it will take all the allergens out of the air and you will be able to breathe freely without worry in that room!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

the problem may not be one of allergy!. cigarette smoke is a mix of thousands of toxic chemicals, including carcinogens like formaldehyde and particulates (small dust-like particles)!. what your eye is doing is trying to protect itself from harm!. the particulates probably get up your nose too, like when you sneeze in a dusty room!. it's also possible you have a sensitive conjunctiva (eye surface)!.

lord knows what it's all doing to your mum and her partner's lungs!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes! some people will get headaches also!. usually it occurs when you are not around it much and then someone lights up!. you should let them know of the dangers of secondhand smoke!. they shouldnt smoke in the same room as you, they should smoke outside , maybe they could get an air purifier for you!. It sounds like you could be a hypochondriac!. If you believe you can get asthma from someone smoking, then I know so!. Asthma is a genetic disorder, not something you catch, like a cold!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
