The answer is YES and I'm first hand experience!.
I was born with a VSD: 2 holes in the heart!. I had heart surgery when I was 5 days old and a balloon angioplasty when I was 14 [now 21]
My boyfriend got me hooked onto rockstart last summer and I drank one every few days!. I stopped after a month cuz it was getting old!. Last week we got some just cuz they were a good price!. I had breakfast, had a hair appt, had a rockstar then went to the movies w!. my boyfriend!. Towards the end of the movie I start to feel claustrophobic, my heart was RACING, I was shaking, I felt hot, couldn't take deep breaths and become extremely ansy!. I started to freak out in the movies and basically ran out!. I ran to the bathroom, splashed some water on me but my heart kept racing!. Knowing I have previous heart problems, I started to have a panic attack!. We went outside and I calmed down but my heart was still racing for the next 3 hours!.
From that experience, I vowed to never do another energy drink again!.

Any kind of energy drink or shot is bad for the heart!. Anything that speeds the heart rate will also cause a spike in blood pressure!. Rapid heart rate and high blood pressure equals a heart that is pumping blood faster than it should and with a harder force!. Not a good combo for someone with a heart problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have Congestive Heart Failure!. You shouldn't drink energy shots if something is wrong with your heart!. No drugs, pills, smoking, or alcohol either!. It's really bad for your heart!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
excessive caffeine intake is a bad plan if you have a heart condition!.
