Answers:
This happened to our daughter - wash the area well with alcohol (see if someone can try to get the head out with tweezers)
wash with alcohol and apply an antibiotic cream like Neosporin!.
Call your MD and just ask what they suggest sometimes (because of lyme) they want to try to remove it altogether!.
Our pediatrician told us not to worry if we cleaned it well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The retained head can leave you open to infection or a rejection reaction that will seem like an infection!. I would disinfect the area with tincture of iodine, then apply frequent warm compresses (plain water) keeping the bite wound open!. It should not be too long before the head comes out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

your body will treat it like a bacteria and it will become infected!.
treat it as you would any open wound with washing and antibiotic creams until it clears!. if it becomes very swollen !.!.!.see a doctor for prescription antibiotics!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to the doctors and have it removed if it is still embedded in your scalp!. Ticks can carry Lyme disease so the doctor may want to monitor your health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
