Is this BPM Normal?? The heart rate seems wayyy too high!

Question: Is this BPM Normal!?!? The heart rate seems wayyy too high
I'm 14, and I've been on the elliptical quite often!. At a pace I can maintain, my heartrate is usually around 190- 200!. When I do the pace I can maintain, and then go up to a higher speed for about a minute, my heart rate goes up to around 209 and once, 212!.
This doesn't seem normal, cuz it's the highest rate in my class!. (during PE) even my gym teacher was surprised!.
I'm pretty fit, and not at all overweight!.!.!. infact I'm a little underweight (I can't help it, I can't eat too much)
Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

its all good!. your young, you heart rate at a resting rate is going to be a little bit faster than an adult resting anyways, so after working out thats perfectly normal!. your normal resting will probably be!.!.!.80-120 bpm or so!. and also because your underweight your heart may be smaller than everybody elses and it has to work a bit more!. But everybody's body is WAAAAAY different, but as long as your not passing out or dying, your all good :D Www@Answer-Health@Com

The fact that you're a little underweight is probably not good seeing that your heart rate manages to hit over 200!. However, if you don't experience ANY, and I mean ANY physical ramifications from the BPM being so high, then, as far as I'm concerned, there's nothing wrong at all!. If your vision starts going awry or you get unusually lightheaded or start to black out a little bit, it's probably directly related to your BPM, but, for now, I think it's perfectly fine!. Naw!.!.!. I'd say you're fine, especially since you don't report any problems!. According to more than one source, maximum heart rate is about 220 minus your age, and that's just a guide -- it can be off by as much as 20 in either direction!. By that calculation, your max rate could be 186 to 226!. So a 212 is a bit high, but not THAT high!.

It could be that you just have a really good heart and can max out its rate like nobody's business!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would not be worried around 200 at your age provided you are healthy and are not feeling any other side effects!.

However, if your resting heartrate is 100 or more I would suggest seeing a medical doctor just to be safe!.
