Keep an eye on it--if it becomes asymmetrical, crusts over, or has a discharge, see a dermatologist right away!. Have you ever had a bad sunburn on that area of your body!?

Even one bad sunburn as a child can set you up for skin cancer later in life!.

Good for you for checking on your body and noting any new moles, spots, etc!. You should do that once a month, and use a length mirror, or have your partner check you and you check your partner!.!.!.

To ease your mind, you can look at pictures of normal and abnormal moles at the American Cancer Society web-page, noted below!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think by the color of the mole that you have mentioned, it does sound like it could possibly be cancerous!. I am not really knowledgeable in this area, but I have heard that dark moles, red moles and moles that morph over time are moles that need to be checked out by a doctor!. But then, this may not be a mole at all - it could be numerous other things!. Of course, next time you go to the doctor you should probably get him or her to check it out for you!. Try not to stress out about it!. Take care of yourself and remember to stay safe in the sun!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

i just went to the dermatologist today to have him look over my body for cancerous moles!. i have lots of moles! The one mole i was concerned about, he wanted to remove it!. so he removed it today and its going in for a biopsy!. He said he does not believe its cancerous, but your better off just having peace of mind, and have a derm!. look at it!. Just go in! It will make you feel better, and never hesitate when it comes to your health!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Moles will form for no reason!. It could be a broken capillary perhaps if it's more reddish than brown!. I wouldn't worry but you can show it to your doctor on your next physical!. If you notice major changes in it then you should go in specifically for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Always wear sun block because moles are cancerous!. If it goes black then go see a doctor right away!. Don't leave it for it may get bigger and worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
