Chronic cough...no insurance.!


Question: Chronic cough!.!.!.no insurance!.
I'm 25yrs old!.!.!.had a chronic cough for about 2!.5 months!. Post-nasal drip really bad at night!.!.!.cough is dry!. Is this allergies, or should I be more concerned!?

I wouldn't allow this cough to continue without checking it out with your MD!. Sinus infections which are nasty and can make you feel like crap can only be remedied with antibiotics!. Get a sinus rinse!.!.nasopure is a good one so is AYR, use twice a day, upon rising and right before bed

Drink caffeine!.!.!.a natural weak bronchodialator

Take zyrtec for allergies (available over the counter) during the day and benedryl before bed!.

declutter your living space, esp!. the bedroom!.

Wash your sheets and pillow case weekly in hot water!.

Keep your windows closed and use your A/C!. Fresh air contains pollens, mold, dust, etc that will exacerbate your problems

Mix: 1/2 a cup of boiling milk and 1/2 a cup of cold soda!. Drink slowly!.

Cough natural treatment: boil 5 garlic cloves in 2 cups of water; take the cloves out and drink up the warm water!.

Since you are saying the cough is dry I take it that you mean you are not producing anything from it (i!.e!. phlegm)!. If it is a nuisance cough and not a racking cough then it probably is allergies!. This is a bad year for allergies!. Try some Sudafed for a few weeks to see if it gets rid of the post-nasal drip (which is more than likely causing your cough)!. If things don't get better, then go to a doctor!. I know not having insurance is a big pain, but it is better to be safe than sorry!. You could try one of those walk-in clinics if there is one where you live!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Chronic cough can be caused by post-nasal drip, acid reflux disease (GERD) or asthma!. Some medications have cough as a side effect--like Ace-inhibitors for high blood pressure, Lisinopril, for example!. Allergies can cause cough ( dust mites, molds, pollen ) I'm sorry you are one of the 50 million Americans ( I assume you live in the U!.S!.) without health insurance, but you need to have this checked out!.
