Question: HELP ME! SALIVARY GLAND STONES!
I went to the Dr!. for these what I thought were swollen lymph nodes!. Well, it turns out to be stones in one of my salivary glands!. Every time I eat, my gland on the right side of my neck swells to golf ball size, and under my tongue where another one of my saliva glands are swells up too, but just not as big!. It feels like I'm starting to get one on the other side too!. Dr!. prescribed me 500 mg amoxicillin and told me to suck on fresh lemons!. Will these go away or what will happen!? I hope it's not cancerous!. I'm almost done with my pills and still nothing has change!. Does anyone have any precise info!? Greatly appreciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They're fairly common, and they are not usually associated with any other type of disease such as cancer!.
Often they will pass by themselves!. That's the point of sucking on a lemon - it makes you produce lots of saliva which can then flush the stone out through the salivary duct!.
You may be able to feel the stone in the duct under your tongue!.
If it doesn't seem to be shifting, go back to your doctor: they may need to do a minor operation to cut the stone out of the duct, or alternatively a specialist can remove the stone with a small probe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My son has the same thing! I took him to an ENT doctor!.!.He prescribe him antibiotics too for 10 days!. He also told him to suck on the lemons too!.!.He is almost finished taking all of the antibiotic!.We have seen a big improvement very much! Doctor said if the medicine didn't work we would talk about surgery!.!.!.I say if you havent seen any improvement definitely go back to doctor,Www@Answer-Health@Com
