Question: I only get a Thrush when i have sex
I am 22 years old i have been with my partner for 6 years and I have been sexually active for almost 3 years now,We have never been sexually active with anyone else but each other!. My problem is over the last 8 months everytime i have sex with my partner i get a thrush!. Its extermely annoying and has interfered with my sex life!. I dont like having sex when i have it as i am very very sore and swollen!. I have been to a gyanacolgist, they confirmed it was a thrush, and i am clear from everything else!. I always use protection and now have started using a safe clinic approaved liberacation!. The gyanacologist kind of brushed it under the carpet and keeps giving me thrush creams, tablets etc!. They dont make the thrush go and my problem is unsolved!.!.!.

The sex probably isn't causing the thrush but if it's not completely better when you have sex it makes the thrush worse and more evident!. My gyno gave me a pill to get rid of the thrush!. I took one pill and then another three days later!. She did give me cream for the irritation!. She advised me not to have sex until it was completely gone!. It took mine 4 weeks to completely go away!. Try to get some meds and don't have sex for about 4 weeks!. Hopefully this well help!. I know it's frustrating and can dampen your sex life but it's best to just get rid of it first!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well stress is a huge factor in making the thrush spread!. Is it possible that you are subconsciously unhappy!? Is there something going on in your relationship that has you uneasy!?
I can't see any other reaon for it to flame up during sex other than that!. It's similat to shingles in that way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sitz baths and elavil!. Sitz bath = one cup of salt and 1/2 a cup of apple cider vinegar for each tub of warm water!. Elavil (ask your doctor for it)!. It's a MILD antidepressant that's used for cronic pain too!. Good luck and I feel your pain!Www@Answer-Health@Com
