Can I really have Genital Herpes?!

Question: Can I really have Genital Herpes!?
Yesterday I was diagnosed with Genital Herpes after having a red bumpy and itchy and painful rash on my inner thigh for about 12 days!. First of all, I am a virgin!. I have never received oral sex but have given it and have only be fingered AFTER I developed the rash!. Since it is obviously not oral herpes I don't think I could of gotten it from giving oral sex!. (Which has only been to my current boyfriend who is a virgin, has only received oral sex from me but was given a hand job once a few years ago) So can I really have Genital herpes!? Does this mean I was only exposed to the Herpes on my thigh area or can I later break out in other places!? Could I have gotten it from performing oral sex on my symptomless boyfriend even though I washed my hands right after without touching my mouth or anything!? Is it likely that my boyfriend contracted Herpes from me while fingering me!? (I have no bumps on my genitals) I understand a lot of people ask about Herpes but honestly, my boyfriend never had any Herpes symptoms and only would of had one opportunity to get it so the chances seem so slim for me to have it yet it seems to be the only explanation!. Please help my if you know ANY information, especially if you know of a rash that has often been misdiagnosed as Herpes but is not!. Thanks! Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know a guy who caught herpes from a woman who had given him oral sex, so she must have had it in her mouth for him to have contracted it!.

But your case just doesn't sound right, and frankly, I think doctors nowadays seem to actually enjoy wrecklessly diagnosing kids with mental illness and STDs!.

I'd tell you to demand he take some sort of swab of it to confirm it is herpes - I'm not sure if that is possible though - plus, he will probably have his ego hurt by your questioning his godliness!.

With that being said, get a second opinion, and if a second doctor tries to tell you it is herpes, tell him you want confirmation of it through a laboratory!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The virus has to be "massaged" onto the skin so it usually occurs where sexual friction occurs the most, so if you really are a virgin and this was your first outbreak it is most likely not herpes, but its still possible!. There is a test you can get called a HerpeSelect, talk to your doctor about getting one!. Hope this helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would get a second opinion but you can also pick things up from public places && other places where you could have been exposed without having sex to the virus!. But get a second opinion and good luck I hope you dont have it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's a misnomer that herpes is contracted only with intercourse

The virus also lives around the mouth, typically manifesting as cold sores!.!.!.any oral contact with a cold sore can cause herpes although this is less common than with intercourse!.!.!.this includes oral sex!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok!. Hold on and here we go!. Unfortunately, you can have genital herpes despite the fact that you are a virgin!. It certainly seems like a reach but it is possible!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Herpes are very easy to spread!. If you got herpes on your mouth and touched your mouth then touched your leg!.!. you could have spread it!. Get a second opinion though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get a second opinion from another doctor!Www@Answer-Health@Com

try going to a different doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

are you REALLY sure he's telling you the truth!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is it possible that he's lying about being a virgin!? Also you don't have to have any visable symptoms to contract or give genital herpes!. Herpes can come skin-to skin contact!. That's why condoms don't protect against herpes!. So since you did let him fondle you down there it's possible that you do have it!. I would suggest refraining from oral sex until you both are taking the medication, since your not really sure who's the transmitter!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
