Question: I think i've got an STD,help!!?
I have little lumps around my vagina,i slept with this guy a month ago unprotected now i'm scared he's given me something,i think it might be genial warts,can i go straight to a GUM clinic or do i need a doctors referral!?

Stop squeezing them!!! Depending on where you live and your insurance situation I would head straight to planned parenthood!. It could possibly be warts, maybe herpes!. There is not much chance fore remedy until you know what the issue it!. You need to see a doctor - you don't need a referral - there usually are womens' clinics that can get you in right away!. You could have vaginal warts or herpes and squeezing them will not help and, if it's herpes, it could spread the virus if you squeeze them!. Until you get your appointment, put epsom salts in your bath water - it may reduce any swelling and/or itching but it will not *cure* anything - only a diagnosis and medication will cure or get control over your symptoms!. If they are water blisters, it may be herpes and if you pop them you will spread it even more!. Wash your hands, keep them out of your crotch area!.!. You can go to a doctors office and tell them you need urgent care because STD's are generally not emergency room material(although it feels like an emergency to the person who has them) they will do a vaginal exam, and blood tests!. ask for chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes, HIV, as well as a pap smear which will test you for HPV and syphilis testing!.

go to google images and look up genital warts and compare yours to the pictures you see!. Whatever it is don't squeeze them, and you can definitely go straight to a clinic, but going to your regular doctor can be a good buffer, because he may be able to prescribe you something right away, instead of you wasting your time somewhere elseWww@Answer-Health@Com

PLANNED PARENTHOOD!. You need no appointment or refferal and most cities have them!. also, look in the phone book for Public Health Clinic, they will be able to help too!. google your city and state name and then type planned parenthood and add your area code ex:

no u cant squeeze them and yes u can go straight to ur gum clinic without having to see your gp u should make an appointment with them first tho but dont leave it too long as the sooner u get an std checked the sooner and more affetive the treatment worksWww@Answer-Health@Com
