Answers:
You may or may not have asthma!. Ask that your parents make an appointment with a doctor!. If they won't do that, try speaking with a trusted school teacher or counselor!. They may be able to speak to your parents on your behalf and convince them to take you to a doctor!. You could also ask to see the school nurse and see if she could help get through to your parents!.

Look, I'm no doctor and neither are you!. Don't try to convince your folks or anyone that you have asthma; tell them what symptoms you're having!. Like, I feel like I can't breathe, or I can't catch my breath, or whatever your symptoms are!. Ask that they take you to a doctor for a check up!.

Let the doctor ask you questions, give you tests, then tell you what you do or don't have!. I have family members with asthma, and there are lots of ways it can present itself, not just have a hard time breating!.

I hope you're able to see a doctor soon and get a true picture of what's going on with you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If they don't believe that, then make up some other problem that you know will get their attention!. And go to the doctor for that!. While you are there mention to the doctor that you are having a hard time breathing!. Ask him if he thinks you need an inhaler, which you probably do!.

Or the school nurse might be able to talk to them and convince them that you have asthma!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask them if you can go to a doctor for diagnosis!.

If they won't take you, see if some other relative will!. Or talk to your school counselor (it's not likely that they still have school nurses, anymore, unless you're at private school)!. The counselor might know how to help!. If you go to church, talk to your pastor, minister, priest, etc!.

Last resort, look up the closest chapter of the American Lung Association in your phone book, and give them a call for advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
