How can I tell if a cut is infected?!

Question: How can I tell if a cut is infected!?

Yesterday I cut my leg on an old nail hanging off the Wall when I walked by it!. It isn't a bad cut, it looks like a cat scratched you!. Now when I touch it gently, it doesn't hurt!. If I push on it or rub it, there is a tiny bit of pain!. Theres a little redness around it, but the red area is smaller than it was yesterday!.

Theres no streaks coming out of it, and it isnt warm to the touch, and there is no pus/discharge!. The last time I had a tetanus shot was 10 years ago, and I'm due for one at the end of the month!. Am I going to be fine!?

The cut you have is not infected!.
If it was then it would hurt and have
pus and crap coming out of it!.
You are fine so just put some
neosporean on it and a band-aid

I think you shouldn't worry unless you have swelling and itching around the site of the wound!. If you feel a tightness in your jaw I would suggest going to the doctor or emergency room ASAPWww@Answer-Health@Com

It well be really sore and tender red around it and generally well have an off whit puss or sometimes light green puss coming outWww@Answer-Health@Com

doesnt sound infected now!. if it gets worse in the next few days you might want to go get that tetanus shot sooner than the end of the month!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
