Young son has brain damage, any ideas how to stimulate him inbetween physio?!

Question: Young son has brain damage, any ideas how to stimulate him inbetween physio!?
Hi, we found out my 10 month old has mild brain damage a fortnight ago and another condition but that is a seperate story, he doesn't do all that much and 3 months seems awfully long to wait leaving him doing nothing!. He is happy enough to sit on the floor but it isnt stimulating is it, I should of asked my peadiatrician what i could do inbetween but it was such a shock I didnt ask anything! by stimulating I mean helping him learn how to use his body properly, all he does atm is sit and roll over, cant bring himself up to sit or get down from sitting unless he falls down, he babbles n is very responsive just would like some ideas on how to stimulate him before he has his physio!.!.!.!. 3 months of nothingness seems too long to do nothing!. his mind is all there he is just very delayed developing!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm genuinely sorry to hear that!. I don't know about brain damage, but wonder if your baby can use a baby walker in the house perhaps, sit is a play pen with musical toys, lights and such like!. Do you feel like joining a playgroup!? Could your Health Visitor help you to find a suitable venue!? I wish I could offer some great insight to help you both, but I am sure there will be someone on here who knows as lot more!. Good on you for asking!. Hope you get loads of great help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, play music, all sorts to find some he responds to!.
Talk to him, play games (like peep-bo), just communicate any way you can!. Massage his limbs if he likes it, splash the bath water!.
Lie down by him, touch him, watch two babies interact, they will touch and babble and laugh, sometimes they will poke eyes - I don't recommend that!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

What about playing some nice classical music!? Or some other pleasant, engaging music!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well don't go to conclusions too soon!. You don't want to give him prozac (Happened to me when I was a kid!.) or you'll make him a human vegetable!. Instead try to go to a good counseling/psychiatrist to study how he does things!. He may be learning challenged!. If you say he is brain damaged for sure, Find a way to give him something with Omega-3 which helps heal the brain!. They should have omega-3 for children on the shelves like the Flintstones vitamins!.
The last link is a story of a miner who survived a horrific mine collapse and had a coma from brain damage!. A surgeon gave him omega-3 and the miner awoke from the coma soon after!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
