Of course it is a wonderful thing to donate kidneys!. And you are NOT waiting for someone to die!. That person is going to die anyway and it is not your fault!. But that person, or his or her family, lovingly, painstakingly made the decision to help someone like you!. And this decision was important to them and you!. VERY important!. And the family will know that someone out there is alive and was helped!. How very special for them! Don't let a thoughtless nurse make you feel bad about a great gift of love like organ donation!.
