Answers:
Food does not cause diabetes, but you have a risk factor, so you should watch your diet and get some daily exercise!. There is no way to actually prevent diabetes!. Eating a few spoonfuls of sugar on some cereal or in your food each day will not cause diabetes!. Nor will being overweight!. These are old wives tales that people don't like to let go of!. The facts are that food or eating habits does NOT cause diabetes, either type!. It happens when there is a problem with the pancreas!. Eating a very healthy diet does not keep a person from developing diabetes!. It is genetic in many cases!. Some of the web sites that you may be directed to are outdated, and some are full of balony!. Just because you read something on a web site on the internet does not mean it is true!. The internet is full of garbage, especially the blogs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A family history alone does not mean you will become diabetic!. If your weight is in normal range and you are an active person and eat reasonably well, you can rest assured that your chances of becoming a diabetic are decreased!. If you are overweight, inactive, and eat a unhealthy diet, then your risk increases!. Sometimes you can't avoid genetics, but you can be in charge of your lifestyle and as a result, limit risk factors in your control!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Having diabetes in your family increases your risk of getting it!. There is no evidence that not eating sugar has any effect on whether you'll get it or not, but some people think if you cut down carbohydrate intake you have a better chance of avoiding it!. Not just sugar but -all- carbohydrates--bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, etc!. etc!.

When you are diagnosed with diabetes you usually have had it for some time and often people have already done some damage to themselves!. If you are careful about carbohydrate intake, if you do get it, you will do less damage before you are diagnosed, so it's a good idea in that way too!.

BTW 1-2 teaspoons of sugar a day is not really very much!. A sandwich with two slices of bread is about the same amount!. A sandwich on a French roll is three or four times that much!. A 12-oz can of soda is as many as 14 teaspoons of sugar!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's not the use of sugar that causes the diabetes but heredity is a factor!. Might be advisable to follow a good eating plan and be sure you're checked yearly so if it develops you're getting help with control sooner!.

I inherited type 2 from my father's side of the family and yearly blood work caught me in the earliest stages and I'm still severe complication free!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

My understanding is sugar doesn't cause diabetes!. The cause is unknown!. Once the pancreas stops producing sufficient insulin, your body is just not able to handle the sugar you eat and you have to supplement your body's production of insullin with synthetic insulin!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

if diabetes runs in your family having a healthy diet will cut down on your chances of getting it, a little sugar here and there won't hurt you but try to keep it at a minimum and if you exercise that will help also, good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

you are possible getting diabetes, but we don't know!.!.!.when you will get diabetes!? maybe 2 years next, 10 years or 20 years next!.!.!.!.depent on your lifestyle, on your diet!. you must avoid to eat foods rich carbohidrat/sugar too much!.!.!.!.!.do exercise for preventionWww@Answer-Health@Com
