Anything to help asthma (other than asthma pump...)!

Question: Anything to help asthma (other than asthma pump!.!.!.)
I don't know why but my asthma has flared up or something- using the asthma pump doesn't seem to be helping!.
I'm not having major problems or anything- it's just uncomfortable- feels like theres a rubber band round my tubes to my lungs- breathing deeply hurts slightly, actually more like tension when I breath in!.

So yeah does anyone have any other advice that could help!?
I heard coffee but does that actually work because I don't have any in my house and I don't want to have to go out and spend money on it when I don't like it if it's not going to work!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

are you on any preventers!?!? if you are not then see your doctor who will be able to prescribe you some!. there are low dosage steroid inhalers-things like becotide and seravent, and if these dont help then the dosage can be increased so you are on things like flixotide and smbicort!. also, if your asthma is allergi, then ther is a prescription anti-histammine called montalucast (singulair) which is really helpful, i use it and it is great!. if none of these tings control your asthma then you can get oral steroid tablets from your docctor (prednisolone) which should calm things down, but really you should be on preveners all the time!. if you are already, then se your doctor about increasing the dose!.
