My Dad is going in next week for surgery to remove his bladder and prostate!. Have you had this surgery or has anyone you know had this surgery and if so, how are they doing!? Did they have a long recovery time!?

I had bladder surgery but it wasn't removed!. No problem with that!. I had prostate surgery and the idiot doctor left the cancer in me!. That was 8 months ago and still no bladder control!. Lot's of pain but my problems are caused by an inexperienced doctor!. With a good doctor the outlook is a lot better!. I wish your Father the very best of luck!. Once again, the recovery period has a lot to do with the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i have a family member who had there prostate removed due to cancer he was fine up until a few weeks ago they said the doctor who performed it messed up some of his nerves where the colon is and he had to go to the er to get his colon flushed but other than that he is ok!.

I have cared for people who have had this surgery!. Most do very well, although there is pain for the first few days!. He will need the loving support of his family!. I will surely say a prayer for him, you and your family and for the doctors and nurses who will be with him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I know a lot of people who have had it and are doing great, matter of fact they can drink me under the table1 The operation however is a serious one, recovery is good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
