Question: Why Did Planned Parenthood Make Me Feel Like Crap!?
I went to Planned Parenthood for treatment of HPV!. I got the HPV from a sexual assault!. I only had one sexual partner before the assault (an old boyfriend!.) Before the assault, I had not had sex in two years!.
They had me fill out 5 pages of sexual history!. They obviously did not look through it all because they came out and said "Well you probably got the HPV a long time ago!. Yeah, its been four year since you first had sex so you probably got it back then!."
I was like "Umm are you serious!?!?!?" The man that assaulted me is 10 years older, bisexual and sleeps with prostitutes!. I started getting small red bumps and a huge sore 1 month after the assault!. My boyfriend and I were both virgins when we had sex!.!.!.!. Hmm!. I wonder who gave me HPV!.!.!.!.My virgin boyfriend or a bisexual freak that has unprotected anal sex with men and puts out adds on craigslist for casual sex!.
And I coincidentally started getting bumps one month after the assault (The average time period that HPV develops!.) In only extremely rare cases will it take two years to develop!.
Why do they judge me just because I had sex before they think I got it a long time ago!? The lady didn't even look at my form to see that it was a sexual assault!. The nurse just told her that I had sex 9 months ago!.
Why are they so unprofessional!? Why don't they look at the entire form instead of glancing that I first had sex when I was 18 to conclude that I must have gotten it when I was 18!?

Planned Parenthood made you feel like crap because the only thing they care about is money!. If you look at all of their literature, you'll find that you and others like you are referred to as "clients," not as "patients!." They actually don't care one bit about treating you!. Their real objective is to draw you in so that you'll trust them enough when you get pregnant to let them talk you into an abortion!.

She once said "We must never let them know that our intent is to eliminate the ***** race!." Hence why PP today continues to target African American and Hispanic women and prefers to move into communities where that is the predominant population!.

They told me it might increase my cravings, and that it might increase my need for calcium, but other than that, it was perfectly safe!. You know what!? Because of the shot, I ended up with an ovarian cyst, and for the two years since I got off the shot, my reproductive system has been screwed up, and my regular doctor told me I'd have a very difficult time concieving a child when my husband and I are ready because of the shot!.
Unfortunately, I can't prove it, so no way to sue PP for the emotional and physical distress the shot has caused me!. I only thank God that the clinic they have here isn't set up to provide abortions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think a note to the administrator of the clinic would be in order!. People lose perspective sometimes when they do the same thing day in, and day out!. A well placed criticism through the right channels might help somebody to regain the composure they need to do this job properly!. You'd be doing a huge favor to everyone concerned!.

I've gone to Planned Parenthood once before and I felt extremely weird there!. I mean they had like an attitude or something!. I don't think they mean it but you know you get what you pay for sometimes and unfortunately we don't pay there so I guess they act like that because they have nothing better to do!. They work in public clinics for a low salary!. They are under qualified and most of them work there because they can't get a job at a hospital, even the physicians!. If you want better care, go to a private hospital!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think its every medical place, even when I go to the hospital or doctor, I wrtie donw information on the forms, and they say well what brings you here today and Im thinking did you even read the paper you had me fill out!. Trust me, its not just planned parenthood, its all medical places, you would think having as much education as those doctors have, they would play closer attention,but they honestly dont care what you have to say, because either way they get paid!. Ive witnessed firsthand the unprofessionalism of the entire medical industry,ever wonder why we're ranked like 40th out of the world for healthcare, its because doctors here dont listen to their patients and disregard their concerns, then they end up collapsing on the waitng room floor one day and die due to the doctors ignorance!. well you gotta understand that they have tuns of customers everyday!. they dont have time to read ever thing about everyone!. they have someone scheduled right after you so they have to get to the imprtant stuff like treatment and testings to keep schedule!. trust me, they dont care how many or how little parners you have had, thier main concern is getting you treated!. there job is to get rid of a problem!.!.!.!.the least important part of there job is finding out why unless if its important information concerning how soon they need to treat or how long it has been in the body!. i felt the same way when i went there after i lost my verginity!. i felt like i was just a number to them and not a human!. but now that im older i realized that they have hundred almost everyday and have to keep a scedule and only focus on the "must" key pontsWww@Answer-Health@Com
Oh honey, I don't even know what to say!. You poor thing!. As if you weren't traumatized enough initially, they had to go and make it worse!. If it makes you feel better, you could call and ask to speak to whoever is in management of the place and explain to them everything you put here!. Wow, that is extremely unprofessional of them!. That's ridiculous!. I completely understand why you're upset!. The people who you dealt with are probably people who have worked there forever and have lost faith in everyone who walks in the door so they just end up treating everyone like dirt!. ignore them, it's their issue, not yours!. As long as you got some supprt/information/whatever you needed from them and the issue is cleared up, just try and forget about it!. i read that guys are born with the hpv in them and even virgin guys can pass it on!. it sits in their testicles!. most the time you don't even know you have hpv!. so they are right that it could be from that long ago!. also, that's why there are several types of hpv and you can get shots to protect you from most of them!.

I don't know why they don't read the forms, probably so they just have them on file for legal reasons!. I went there once, not for reasons as serious as yours, but I thought they were very rude and unprofessional!. Especially since I thought they were supposed to be helping women, not making them feel bad and treating them with disrespect!. You should go to a gynecologist or another clinic!. Or search out a place where they really want to help you, and not just dismiss your problems and your story!.
But since you were assaulted you should go get serious help!.

Small red bumps and sores are a sign of something else- such as herpes, syphilis, etc!.
The HPV virus has over a hundred strands, and each produces one of three effects:
1) None
2) Genital warts (painless looking warts)
3) Cervical cancer
Perhaps the bumps are from shaving!? Or related to another STD!?
I don't believe they should be unprofessional, but HPV does stay dormant for while in the body!. I would get tested for everything else!

it is a well known fact that PP is in the business of birth control so they assume everybody is doing it and when a woman needs assistance due to an STD, HPV, or HIV they don't care what she writes down!.
They'd rather treat women as a number and if they are pregnant, they push abortions for the $$$ instead of promoting adoptions to couples who can't have them!.
Your best bet is to try a clinic that is run by a non profit b/c they can offer financial assistance based upon a person's income and they will not judge women at all!. I use to work at a non profit hospital that had a clinic and we helped many pts!. like yourself!.
