Herpes question - advice would be appreciated!!

Question: Herpes question - advice would be appreciated!
Further to my previous question:
I was diagnosed with herpes (type 2 or b or whatever it's called - the one which you do get recurrences with) last october!. My initial breakout was immense, incredibly painful and nasty!. I haven't had a recurrence since, is this normal!? it has been almost a year!. Am I wrong to get my hopes up and believe that I might not have one!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just LOVE the way some people have NO idea about herpes! Don't worry about what some ignorant people say about herpes!. It is not EVEN close to being the end of the world!.

I really feel bad for the people that come to Y! looking for answers, then some people with no compassion give such ignorant answers!. We should all be here to help one another!.

Back to your question!.!.!.Sorry about my rampage!.!.!.I just hate it when I see a mean answer!. OK!.!.!.You may experience outbreaks in the future!. It sounds like you could just be lucky enough to either have very mild outbreaks or be asymptomatic!. Usually the first year is pretty rough and because your first 9 months seemed to be pretty easy, then you just might be one of the lucky ones to not have to deal with the outbreaks!.

If you stay healthy and avoid stress, that can reduce the risk of outbreaks!. Also, did you know aspartame (found in diet foods, drinks and gum) is suggested to cause more outbreaks!?

Good health to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

u should try to always be posative!. stressing yourself out like this wondering when or if there will be a next one may only cause another one to happen!.
thats almost like me!. i had my first out break in July of last year then nothing until Ocober of the same year but i was really sick so that triggered an out break for me!. since then my out breaks have been rather mild!. i don't get the blisters or sores as much just a really bad itching and burning sensation for a couple of days!.
some people only have one big out break then have little or no out breaks so your not wrong to keep your hopes up!. just keep track of what triggers your out breaks, and your symptoms, try to limit or stay away from them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you may be very lucky and not have one for a long time, but don't dilude yourself, you will have one!. outbreaks can be caused by stress, low immunity, illness, exhaustion, bad nutrition, etc!. do the best you can to take care of yourself and hopefully you will go a very long time without having a breakout!. and remember, practice safe sex EVERYTIME, you can still pass on the virus even if you don't have an outbreak!. best of luck!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i've been diagnosed too!. i've only ever had one slight breakout, which wasn't that major!. the nurse told em, i can go my whole life without ever having another course of it!. she did tell me though, it is the most likely to accure again when i'm run down, stressed, tired, got a cold etc, just generally when your immune system is weak!. don't worry too much about it, you can't really do much about it, it'll either happen again or it won't, it's kinda out of your hands, so don't spend your time worrying about it! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wow!. I am sorry to say that it is pretty hopeless for you!. Having herpes is like having a sign on your head screaming out "get away from me, I am the walking dead!"!. No more dates for you!. Moreover, no more socializing, as I'm sure every girl will turn away from you now from the first hint that you are infected!. Better luck in your next life!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm in the exact same boat!. I was diagnosed nearly 2 years ago and haven't had a single breakout since that initial one (which was also EXTREMELY painful for me as well)!. It's normal, be happy you haven't seen any signs!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Usually the first out break is the worst!. You will probably get more outbreaks but they can be few and far between!. Stress is a major contribute to an outbreak!. don't worry they don't last as long and aren't as painfulWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am afraid that the time between exacerbations can be quite long and your problems may well not be over!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You've been very fortunate!! But you probably will have another outbreak!. Never wrong in hoping though :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
