Question: Hypochondria about HIV
I have been suffering from very bad hypochondria, specifically about HIV!. I finally got tested last month and was negative!. But I just had sex two days ago (using a condom) and am absolutely terrified that I have contracted HIV!. I will get tested as soon as possible, but if my partner was infected what are my chances of getting it!?
Also, if anyone knows of a way to help calm this anxiety I would appreciate some advice! I don't want to go through the rest of my life fearing sex :(

If you used a condom, chances are you def!. didnt catch it!. Even if he DID have it!.
If you actually knew the guy, you would know if he practices safe sex or not with other people, and, most importantly, if he has HIV!.
Dont go through life fearing sex!. Just be safe and you'll be fine!.

Even though you have protection, there is no guarantee!. Get to know someone, remain in a monogamous relationship and have each other tested!. If you are so scared of getting HIV, I would advise abstinence!. That way, you are safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
hiv is a horrible disease y ushould be worried!.

make sure u are always using protection !.!.but the best way to not worry ids not to have multiple partners! u know make sure its the someone u have known a while and may even be with a while/forever!.!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
You should get to know a person and make sure they dont have HIV or something before you sleep with them! Thats the smart choice!.!. or just dont have SEX and waitWww@Answer-Health@Com
