Question: I would like to talk via e-mail about my breast cancer
I FOUND OUT ABOUT A 1-1/2 MONTHS AGO AND AM WAITING TO GO TO SURGERY NEXT WEEK!. IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME I HAVE NOT REALLY SPOKE ABOUT IT BECAUSE IT FEELS LIKE I AM NOT SICK AT ALL OR I AM JUST IN DENIAL!. I FEEL THAT I SHOULD BE CRYING, TALKING, GETTING MAD, ETC!. IT CAME AS A SHOCK AND MY 2 BOYS I DO NOT WANT THEM TO BE WITHOUT ME!. I ALSO DO NOT WANT TO GET SICK AFTER THE SURGERY!. THANK YOU!.

There is a website that would help alot!.
Its www!.breastcancer!.org there is a 24/7 chat room!. There's a discussion board that covers ever topic about breastcancer!. The site is run by Dr's and every so often they have a meeting where you can ask the Dr questions online!.
You have every right to feel that way you do!. I cant even explain the thoughts that went threw my mind when I found out I had cancer!. I didnt know who to talk to or what to say!. It seemed like no one really understood what I had to say or what I was going threw!.
Someone told me about this site and I was worried at first!. When I entered the chat room I was overwhelmed, but in time they helped me with my questions in gave me knowledge!.
I have been fighting breastcancer and now its stage four!. I have a three year old little girl and I worry about her everyday!. Without these woman on this site I wouldnt be able to imagine what to think!.

Breast cancer is one of those insiduous diseases where at first you don't really feel ill at all and it takes time for it to sink in!. What you're experiencing is completely understandable!.
Both my grandmothers are breast cancer survivors, and my sister-in-law was just recently diagnosed as well and had her surgery last week!. I've worked in the field of cancer and breast cancer fundraising and I've heard many stories and have access to lots of information about this topic!.

Feel free to email me through my profile here!. I was diagnosed last year with breast cancer!. I had a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation!. And I have three children so I understand the worry!.

I have never been through any type of cancer but I do have several friends who are dealing with it right now!.
There is a sight you can register yourself to give updates to friends and family and also get a whole lot of support ie:emails from others in your same situation!. www!.caringbridge!.org
