Question: Is this OCD!? Please Help!.
I may be a little paranoid!. Although I am not sure!. I was wonder is this OCD!. When I was younger I use to have anxiety attacks and flip out over things that I did wrong or if I forgot to bring home homework!. And I would do this in Elementry and Middle School!. I always thought I did it because I wanted to set a good impresion as a good student and a just to be known as a good person but I still kind of feel like I am not doing good!. Although I don't flip ot as much!.
This next year I will be starting high school!. I am kind of exciteded but I still want to be the best at everything!. So instead of worrying so much I started catching my self rubbing my hands together like I am washing them!.Then I started washing my hands for little to no reason at all!. My hands are starting to become raw and I can know feel any bit of stuff on my hands!. I just washed them yet they still feel dirty!. Just know my dad caught me washing my hands for know reason and asked said I am becoming obsseive about washing my hands but I didn't even notice untill he told me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Now, getting help would be best!.
You need to see that no one is good at everything!.
Just be your personal best, you dont need to impress anyone but yourself!.
Now, instead of washing your hands, use germ-x it might help you feel a little more clean!. Try not to think about being the best!. and try to do other things that will take your mind off of washing your hands and stuff!.

Yes it does sound like OCD!. OCD isnt a big problem unless it cause physical or even emotional problems!. In your case it is making your hands raw, so I would suggest seeing a docter or something because it would be very uncomfortable going around with skinr rubbed off your hands!. Obsessive hand washing is a sign of OCD but it could also just be nervous tension!.
