Answers:
The first person definitely known to have died from AIDS was a 15 year old called Robert R!. who died from Kaposi's sarcoma in St Louis in 1969!. Preserved blood samples were tested in 1987 that demonstrated he had HIV!.

HIV was also identified in a preserved blood sample from a patient in Leopoldville (which is now called Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo) from 1959!. It is not known whether the person later died from AIDS!.

HIV has probably been spreading since the early decades of the 20th century!. However, the first diagnosis of the disease we now call AIDS was not made until 1981!.

The virus we now know as HIV itself was not identified until 1983, although the disease was well known by then!. The first tests for HIV were developed in 1985!.

Probably there have been many deaths from AIDS in the decades before the 1980s in various parts of the world, but exactly how many and when, no one can know for sure!. Most people who died in the 20th century didn't leave behind frozen blood samples for later testing, especially in Africa where the first HIV infections and AIDS deaths probably took place!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no way of knowing who the first person with AIDS was!. The virus existed long before there was a name for it, yet alone the technology to discover itWww@Answer-Health@Com
