Answers:
Herpes stays where you catch it!. If you have genital herpes, then you won't get sores on your mouth and you won't have any eye damage, or infertility, or whatever!.

If you have oral herpes, its a similar story!. No sores on your genitals or anywhere else on your body and no eye damage!.

But if you get herpes in your eye, then you may have eye damage from herpes!. How do you get herpes in your eye!? You can get it as a child be being kissed on your eyes from a relative!. You can get it from using someone else's lip liner on your eyes right after they've used it!. You could get it, in theory, by masterbating when you have a herpes sore, and then rubbing your eyes!.

So in a way, your parents were right!. Masturbation can cause blindness!. Little joke there!.

Unless you have it in your eyes, just wash your hands after you touch your mouth or genitals, and don't worry!.

Occular herpes, by the way, is quite rare!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Only if you get the herpes in your eyes!. If your eyes are watery, red, itching go to an eye doctor!. There is a test they can do to see if you have herpes in your eyes!. There is also a medication that can clear it up in the eyes!. Don't wait to long though because if it is left untreated it can cause blindness!. This includes all of the herpes; simplex and complex!. If you have herpes or even cold sores (fever blisters), make sure you wash your hands frequently and keep your fingers out of your eyes!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

if u have optical herpes that could cause blindness but any other type of herpes is not life threatening and does not cause eye damage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You would have to have optical herpes for it to do any damage to your eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
