Question: Anyone ever had a heart attack because of a blood clot!?UK residents pls
my dad is in hospital !.had heart attack yesterday!.
drs suspect a clot caused it!. never had high bp and cholestorol all low etc non smoker, non drinking, not overweight!. 5 weeks ago he bumped his lower leg as slipped on a stair, and it was mottled and horrendous looking!.!.!. but it healed up slowly!.!.!.I suspect that injury myself, drs are running tests and he's had heparin !.
have YOU been through similar!?
or have any tips for his recuperation when hes out next week!?

He will probably have to go on drugs which help to thin the blood so he avoids any further clots!.
