I might have Herpes... But I am not sure. HELP!!

Question: I might have Herpes!.!.!. But I am not sure!. HELP!
My friend recently found out that she has Herpes type two on her genital region and after discussing that with her we shared a drink, she never stopped me and I never really questioned it!. Now she is telling me that she wont share her food with people because they could get it!. Does that mean that I have it too because I shared a drink with her!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Herpes is almost always spread through skin-to-skin contact!. It is NOT spread through fluids!. As long as you do not rub your genitals together, or perform oral sex on her, you are safe!. I would also avoid wearing her underwear immediately after she has taken it off!. Again, not something that usually happens during a meal!.

If she had ORAL herpes, and you IMMEDIATELY drank from the same soda pop bottle that she did, you might catch it!. But even that would be unlikely!. Oral herpes is most often spread through kissing!. Skin-to-skin contact is the key!.

She really needs to read up on her disease!. She needs to know how herpes is spread, and what is safe!. I strongly recommend the website below!. It has reliable and easy-to-read information about herpes symptoms, transmission and treatment!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, you cant get genital herpes from sharing a drink with her!. There is oral herpes and genital herpes, if she has oral herpes then yes you can get oral herpes from sharing a drink, but not genital herpes!.

Depending on the location of infection, the virus lays dormat in the upper spine or lower spine, and thats it, it isnt in the blood completely or in saliva completely!. So the answer to your question is no, hope this helps!. BTW, the virus can be spread through bodily fluids, and not just skin to skin contact, I caught both oral herpes and genital herpes from non-skin to skin contact!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, you do not have herpes because you shared a drink with her!. However, you shouldn't really be sharing drinks with people because that's how you can get sick but not necessarily from herpes!.

Also, her genital herpes doesn't travel all over her body!. So there is no way you could get her genital herpes from drinking after her!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

genital herpe usually likes to live on the genitals!. so u can't get herpes from her if u shared drinks with her since she doesn't have herpes on her mouth!.
but u could possibly get the oral type of herpes if she had a cold sore at the time u shared drinks!.
just because she has herpes on her genitals doesn't mean that she will have herpes on he mouth too!. u can have one type without having the other at the same time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
