my boyfriend and i aren't sexually active!. we used to have oral sex but then we stopped because i started itching!. but we've stopped being sexually active altogether for months now and i still itch!. i've never had sex before if you're wondering!. the weird thing is it ONLY itches when i go to sleep or in the middle of the night!. it doesn't itch throughout the day!. what could be wrong and is there anything i could do!?!? could it be an std!?!? we're both virgins!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A few things come to mind!. You're not too specific about exactly where the itch is!. If it's an itch around the anus it could be pinworms!. If it's in the entire pubic area it could be crabs!. It could be scabies, but I doubt that because they would have spread to your entire body by now!. If it's pretty localized to the vaginal area it could be a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis, or any type of vaginitis!. It could be a sensitivity to a new soap or product you're using!.
Only at night is kind of strange!. I usually notice itches at night just because there are not distractions!. But, really anything should cause at least some itching during the day as well--except pinworms!. And scabies do itch worse at night, but are still noticeable during the day!.
Any discharge or odor!? I would think it quite unlikely that it's any type of STD!.
The best thing you can do is to see your doctor about it!. Wash with hypoallergenic and scent free soap, dry the area thoroughly (try using a hair dryer on low at a distance, being careful to not burn yourself)!. Maybe you could try some medicated feminine powder!. But, see your doctor!. I'm sure they can diagnose it and treat it quickly!. Hope you feel better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
