Answers:
I don't believe there are any dietary restrictions per se, but you'll have to talk to his doctor about a specific diet while he is being treated!. WIth any diarrhea, you may want to make sure he gets plenty of water, try a "BRAT" diet (banana's, rice, applesauce, and toast), or other clear, simple foods!.

My question is, "how did he get typhoid!?" Where do you live!?

Typhoid is spread via the fecal-oral route!. It is plausible that he ate food that was tainted with the feces of an infected person (this is avoidable by good hand washing habits alone)!. You should make sure that any close contacts to him are tested (children and adults), and anyone who is caring for him takes the appropriate personal protective posture!. This includes gloves while bathing or changing his diaper, strict hand washing for him and caregivers, etc!. His clothing should be washed separate and in hot water with plenty of soap!.

There is also a vaccine available for typhoid, which may benefit family members in that it can prevent cross infection!.

Good luck!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Immediate quarantine and hospitalization!.

Diet:

Allowed: meat broth, soups of cereals, meat and fish souffle, boiled fish, steam cutlets, steam omelet, soft-boiled eggs, boiled vegetables mash (puree), pudding from cereals (rice, semolina), mashed cottage cheese, sour cream, butter, fruit jellies, liquid jellies, mashed compotes, fruit and vegetable juices, wheat rusks, cocoa, tea!.

Excluded are: fibre-rich food (cabbage, radishes, radish, etc!.), spicy meals, snacks, spices and seasonings, canned food, sausage, beans, refractory fats, fatty meat and fish varieties, pastry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Excepting easily digestible foods, that too as per medical advice, nothing like egg, cheese, chicken, etc!.
typhoid is also called enteric fever!. u have to give full rest to intestines as per medical advice!. please, ask ur doctor treating her for typhoid for diet restrictions!.
